  • Bernini Honolulu
    Have an Italian holiday feast with Bernini’s five-course meal available on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The special menu starts off with Maui onion pie and your choice of steamed Big Island abalone with tapenade sauce or a Shinsato ham with Nalo Farms eggplant and goat cheese salad. The first course is a choice of Bernini’s pappardelle with slow-cooked beef ragu or risotto with Venetian-style tomato stewed squid. For the entree: a roast chicken confit with shaved black truffles. Save room for the mascarpone semifreddo with marsala wine sabayon sauce.

  • Tiki’s Grill and Bar
    Always wanted to make a turducken but never got around to it? Well, put it off for next year: chef Ronnie Nasuti is making it for you at Tiki’s. He’s serving the duck and chicken stuffed turkey with a shallot cider gravy, Big Island poha berry and Kula onion marmalade, kabocha pumpkin gratin and Hauula haricot vert. The four-course dinner also includes a parsnip and leek bisque or a roasted island beet and bleu cheese salad, followed by macadamia nut seared scallops. Finish it all off with Bubbie’s coconut covered snowman: vanilla ice cream, a marshmallow top hat and raspberry coulis. $49 per person, available Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, wine pairings and regular menu available.   • Nobu Waikiki
    If you want to really splurge, head to Nobu. For $160 per person, indulge in a stellar array of seafood: salmon sashimi with jalapeno salsa, scallops with dry miso, chu toro with crispy hearts of palm, and a kampachi ochazuke. But you’ll get some turf with your surf, too, in the form of braised Wagyu short ribs with a tofu foie gras sauce. Dessert’s an extra $10?a Grand Marnier Bavarian with cranberry foam and a speculoos cookie.

  • Kai Market
    Help yourself to the Kai Market Christmas dinner buffet. There are the standard assorted fruits, salads and cheese, but the main offerings include the carving station featuring bone-in ham with pineapple-rum-raisin glaze and a salt-crusted, slow-roasted prime rib with horseradish sour cream. Add sides of coconut-lemongrass glazed Okinawa sweet potatoes, wok-tossed Chinatown noodles and Kahuku sweet corn with Hamakua mushrooms. Definitely load up at the dessert table, which includes Portuguese sweet bread pudding with Hawaiian vanilla anglaise sauce, creme caramel almond float, pie, mochi and more.

  • Hau Tree Lanai
    Spend Christmas at the beachfront Hau Tree Lanai, which offers two Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinner menus. For $95 per person, the five-course menu starts with an ahi and hamachi tartare, lobster bisque and seafood artichoke. The main course is a surf and turf of snapper and filet of beef. For dessert: a cherry clafoutis. A second, four-course menu for $75 per person includes salad with poached lobster and crab cakes for starters. The main entree is a garlic herb roasted prime rib and for dessert, mud pie.

  • Side Street Inn on Da Strip
    This Christmas Day dinner buffet includes all of your Side Street favorites such as the fried rice and pan-fried pork chops, as well char siu, boneless misoyaki chicken, vegetable yakisoba, poke and bread pudding, lychee sorbet and strawberry shortcake for dessert.
    $42.50 for adults, $22 for keiki. Call 739-3939 for reservations.
  • Tango Contemporary Cafe
    You can either start or finish your holiday at Tango with its Christmas Day brunch or dinner. For brunch lovers, there’s crab hash Benedict, smoked salmon Benedict, sweet bread French toast or shellfish and chive crepes. If you rather indulge in dinner, choose among prosciutto-wrapped pork tenderloin, lamb t-bone, lobster risotto and more.
    Brunch: $14 to $24 per person depending on selected entrees.
    Dinner: $52 to $56 per person, dinner menu also available on Christmas Eve. Call 593-7288 for reservations.
  • Roy’s Waikiki
    Roy’s Waikiki is open Christmas Day with a special five-course menu with 17 different entree options, such as a jade pesto steamed sea bass, proscuitto-wrapped scallops or a coriander-crusted rack of lamb.
    Dinner ranges in price from $65 to $100. Note: The earliest available reservation is 8:45 p.m., call 923-7697 for reservations.
  • Roy’s Hawaii Kai
    Open for Christmas Eve, the Original Roy’s offers a four-course prix fixe, starting with a mini soup and sandwich: kabocha bisque and a Big Island goat cheese panini. Your choice of entree includes a shiso-crusted salmon with yuzu koshu butter, seared scallops on a cranberry orange gastrique, grilled leg of lamb with a rosemary red wine jus, and the “Duck, Duck, Goose,” a trio of seared duck breast, confit of goose, and sous vide goose. End the evening on a festive note with eggnog and winter cookies.

  • The Kahala Hotel
    Can’t decide where to dine out for Christmas? The Kahala has a few options to choose from:

    • Hoku’s has a Christmas Day brunch buffet featuring French toast with Nutella and marshmallow fluff and guava-glazed ham. $85 for adults, $42.50 for keiki. If you feel like eating later, choose between a five-course dinner ($90 per person, $120 with wine pairings), which includes foie gras, king crab and kurobuta pork chop.
      Dinner available Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
    • Plumeria Beach House also has a brunch buffet with an omelet station and waffle and pancake bar. On Christmas Eve, the dinner buffet features prime rib, honey mustard baked ham and a chocolate yule log for dessert. On Christmas Day, there’s turkey instead of ham.
      $75 for adults, $37.50 for keiki for all buffet meals.

  • Hyatt Regency Waikiki
    The Hyatt has you covered this Dec. 24 and 25:

    • Japengo’s Christmas Eve and Christmas Day four-course menu features sushi and sashimi, smoked Kona lobster with a black sesame vinaigrette, and for the main course, a pulehu rib eye steak with Hamakua mushrooms and black truffle jus. Japanese gelato cake with matcha green tea make for a sweet ending.
      $95 for adults, $25 for keiki.
    • SHOR’s holiday buffet includes prime rib, turkey and kiawe-smoked ham. Save room for pumpkin gnocchi and butter poached fish, and for dessert, mini apple crumbles, cookies and cupcakes. $85 for adults, $20 for keiki.
